If you put a +5 or -5khz switch on it..... is the coarse tune really so necessary?

If you want UKFM, another switch could be used and pull the xtal when the channels are selected ??

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.

I don't think he could have took worse pictures if he tried.

The bidding's suspect as well, to say the least.

Or it could be the item description that's selling it

"superstar 3900 CB RADIO. THIS RADIO BIN IN MY SHACK FOR OVER A YEAR. IT HAS NOT BIN USED SINCE THE RF OUTPUTS BIN PUT IN. I TRY THE RADIO TODAY AND IT WORKS OK. HAD A GOOD REPORT ON 10 METERS AND ON 27 MHZ CB BAND. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT MARKS ON THE RADIO . COMES WITH MIKE AND NEW POWER LEAD. THERE NO RETURNS COS OF RIG DOCTORS OUT THERE.
PAYMENT BY PAYPEL . UK SALE ONLY. FOR GOT TO SAY THE THE RADIO PUSH OUT ABOUT 20 WATTS."

Probably dubious bidding though.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

TBH, I never even got as far as the description, bloody good job as well! It sounds as though it's ready for the 'BIN'...

Must have sold not long after I posted.

It was a good price and looked very tidy.

Slightly OT but bear with me, I see the fuss (hype?) has died down now about the so-called second coming of the 'new' 3900...Did anyone here ever buy one??
