Re: Groundplane on grp roof
I had a T25 VW camper for 13 years, until recently, when I sold it
I used a gutter mount directly above the "B" pillar. Worked just fine
If doing this, just remember the allen headed grub screws need to bight through the paint to make an earth contact on the metal beneath, then of course some paint back on where those screws are, to prevent moisture getting in !!
EDIT = Oh, just remembered, I had to cut a bit of the inner part of the bit where the aerial fits onto the gutter mount to clear the side of the roof. Only needed a bit cut off, easy enough with a junior hacksaw as it's made of aluminium.
