I would say the later 360FM's which were made in the Phillipnes are as good as the Richard.
Despite being PB-010AB rather than PB-010AC they look pretty much the same inside, which is a visually newer look than the older Taiwan versions.
I prefer the Black finish of the Richard though as it is more durable and doesn't show scratches as much.

Are you sure you're not secretly being conditioned by Dr Mackane to sell your entire radio collection to him for £5?NightProwler wrote:
With help from DR.Mackane I have been battling my radio buying addiction and I seam to have it under control and every time I see a radio I want I play that old classic song from Grange Hill...Just say no. All I have to do now is sell all the gear I bought in the last 12 months

Some say, he sold his brainwashing techniques to RTI but the telepathic transfer got mixed up and RTI now convinces folk to buy at ridiculously high prices instead!

Just bagged this off the bay..
I was really after the XT version but this seemed a reasonable price I thought? From what I've read it uses a SS 3900 board. I've also noticed it has the uk 27/81 logo on the fascia. Can anyone give me more info on this and what it's capable of? (apart from drifting lol)

The 27/81 stamp is probably just a sticker Sickboy as a lot of them are on ebay export radios now and again. Can't enlarge it much on my phone but the size and font look different and whiter. Looks a nice radio but never had or used one myself.

Nice radio's. They do indeed use the Dirland 3900 board and work well. I have the XT version myself and it's a completely different radio inside. The fine and coarse tune don't work on FM/AM, but I don't use the UK40 so that doesn't bother me in the slightest.sickboy wrote:Just bagged this off the bay..

I WAS going to put that I'd finally bought another Euro40 handheld that I could either rip the aerial out of to replace my broken one, or just keep the new one. However, just seen that my money has been refunded without reason. I've messaged for the reason, but bad feedback's on its way methinks

Hi Simon . Are you looking for a JACK , or a McKINLEY ? Don't you have a boxed JACK ? I thought you did . Anyway . I picked up a JACK last week . I'll check it out when I get back home to Spain at the end of the month . If you're interested in one then let me know as I already have one and I can bring it back over with me .Mudslinger wrote:I would be tempted with one myself Sammy as well as a Richard if you can get one.
Cheers

I was offered a very good price, pretty much everything is for sale if the price is right.
