They do pop up on eBay often enough. But even second hand they command a high price.

Currently there's this one on there.

Cheers I've seen some on eBay but sellers are in the USA and with customs duty and postage it can get costly

They've got superb TX audio on SSB even using the stock mic. Also, they have a hefty 60W straight out the back so it packs a good punch. The RX is also very good. VFO or band mode. Fully programmable...

Then, of course, there's all the bling. Shiny controls and fancy coloured lights.

Buy it for the first set of reasons and you'll be using a good radio. Buy it for the second set of reasons and you'll be selling it on eBay because you don't have a clue how to use it or you've blown the finals after playing Britney Spears on 19 with the power on full tilt.

Must be going on three years since I got mine. I swapped a President George for it and I'm very happy that I did. An outstanding radio that works well.

There also loaded with all the toys , Talkback , Echo , 14 tone programmable Beep , Mine dose 80 wats out the back on all modes and no drift . Like all new toys the novelty wears off and some come back on the market .

Contact the seller. They're usually flexible if you offer to arrange your own courier to collect from them at their home.

What do they cost brand new ? as I've been told radiozing'' who are a lot closer to me stock them are a distributor in the U.K. .
