Just wanted to say hello to everyone. My name is Mike. I live near Las Vegas, NV and I joined Tango Mike and in doing so I requested call sign 2TM741. I do not appear on the membership roster yet, but I am here. The numbers 741 go way back to when I was a boy living on Long Island. It was 1983, I was turning ten years old and everyone back then had a CB radio. Some folks even had them in their homes. My cousin gave me his mobile CB and I set that up in the family room. The radio was a Midland 40 channel which was powered by my father's car battery charger. The antenna was a crappy Radio Shack mag-mount, the coax of which ran through the open window out to my father's BBQ grill. That was my start in radio. I earned my ham radio license in 1993 and am now 40 years old.....and still playing with radios.
So, that's who I am. When you hear me on the band do say hello.

I will not be commanded, I will not be controlled.
