70cm Repeaters DX

Post by acl777 »

To those living on the south coast what are the first French analogue FM repeaters to come in during lifts? Also what are the first ones from Denmark received on 70cm for those living on the north east coast? Thanks!

On the West Sussex coast, the Cherbourg repeater F1ZJE on 430.4375 and Caen, F5ZWC on 430.025 are the only ones here.

Thanks for the info. It's useful to know what can be expected. Edit: Can these be received most days or does it take a good lift?

Thanks for the info also. Can't say I have heard any on 70cm, only 2 meters but I don't go on 70cm a lot, will have to check more often and see.

For me the 2 meter ones only come through when there is a bit of a lift one, they can be very strong then. I am just the other side of the downs of Worthing so may not hear them as well as those closer to the coast.

Only on days with a really, really good lift.
The repeater most often heard on a moderate lift is the Caen 2m repeater.
