Does anyone know if you can mount a co-linear in the same pole as a delta-loop........in such a way that in effect the colinear is inside the dalta loop.
its mostly to save having to put up another pole........also,the delta loop is a `prowhip` portable one and possibly only up there for 4/5 weeks.
If anyone has done this.......did it work.

Re: Antennas
For what bands are the antennas? Will they be symmetric (horizontal delta-loop) ? Can you rig it up easily for a quick test? If they couple badly, you'll see noticeable power coming down from the other feed while transmitting on the another. Monolithic collinear or multiple units fed with a harness?

Delta loop/co-lineaer
Can anyone tell me if it would work to mount a delta loop( its a prowhip roach pole version) on the same pole/mast as a 2/6/70 co-linear. The delta loop obviously is the larger antenna would have the colinear inside it....mounted to same pole....its just really to save having to put another pole up,also to get the delta loop up a height.......any ideas. thanks

Re: Antennas
Delta lppo will be vertically pole,as will colinear..........Loop is HF.....its one made by Prowhip, before they stopped trading........made of wire and roach poles, with a balun............colinear is 2,6 and 70.
As 1 is HF and other is VHF/UHF,im not sure if 1 would desensitise the other.............
