Finally I get my Call
Hi all.
OK so I finally got my call today after a long, long wait, I still have no Confirmation from the RSGB however they kindly put my Candidate Number on my indicative marking sheet, I have been on the OfCom site daily trying it, and Finally Today it worked, I now have my Licence printed off and my new call.
My new call is M6LIG and I look forward to possibly having a QSO with some of you in the near future.
You can look me up on QRZ HERE
Thanks for reading and I look Forward to speaking to some of you on air soon.

Re: Finally I get my Call
Me to Stan seems like the longest 2 weeks of my life, now I am scared to make my first call, I seem to have gone "mic shy" because of all the bummers on the repeaters.stanogs68 wrote:well done mate made up for you !!

Re: Finally I get my Call
Not really mate, apart from "BE CONFIDENT" you have to go into it with the frame of mind that "it is already in the bag" just keep telling yourself I am going to nail this no problem, and remember on the exam night read the question and read it again then read it again because some of them are worded in a way that you read them once and miss the point of what it is saying, reading it again so your brain can comprehend the questions wording and it suddenly clicks into place.sickboy wrote:Well done mate, just going through mine now. Oh and I wish you all the best and have every faith that you will nail it.

Well done.nay27uk wrote: the longest 2 weeks of my life
Think yourself lucky, I had to take the RAE and had to wait 3 months just for the results. Then had to wait 2 to 4 weeks to be issued a licence with my call on.
