I think the scam is to get money out of PayPal not you..
But in the end PayPal will claw back the money from all users by upping their charges..

Looks like it might be legit, Someone who bought a pair has left the seller positive feedback, Either that or its a friend of the seller whos trying to make it look above board.

If you look on the feedback that the seller has been leaving for buyers, it seems that Italian is his native language, yet the items are coming from China.
I wonder if it's some kind of drop-shipping scam? The vendor in China recruits unsuspecting drop shippers to advertise the items?

That's against Ebay rules. It's your moral duty to report the seller to Ebay for fee avoidance ;)

Ebay charge you 10% on postage also so the seller cannot win now.

£24 from China is pretty normal - it has been relisted too, so they have quite a few.

It's a clever car radio with USB and gizmos

You often find those in Aldi / Lidl at £19.95. I bought one for the VW camper. Pretty happy with.

1p + £20 odd P&P is still Ebay fee avoidance ;)

Here is a more honest seller of a similar unit = http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Stereo-Au ... 2157268290 - FREE P&P

I had ordered these too and received the very same email as you.
I've opened a case anyway.
