A magmount / Ampro-10. There is a 10m net on a Wednesday night (28.410, 20:00-21:00) I''ll try and join in away from QRM.

AMPRO 10 is a wise choice, take out the loading coil and screw the whip into the magmount and hey presto, a 2m beauty :)

Not too sure if it's your thing or not owza, but the AMPRO 10 also tunes perfectly across the muppet band with no ATU.

Have taken a photo yet but have built a 3 band direct conversion reciever for the 80m, 40m and 20m band, I got it as a kit on ebay, it's designed by jjj electronics, and was a straight forward build and works really great.
