What Ham Radio Stuff did you buy today? (2019)

Post by Crusader »

Treated myself to a nice clean Kenwood TS-50 along with a super clean Astatic Teardrop.

I paid £290 which i don't think is too bad considering these TS-50's go for about £300 these days.

A decent HF mobile rig that shall get used :)

I've had this LDG auto tuning unit for a couple of months and managed to find the matching meter to go with it a few days ago.

Thats nice, I do Hanker after a 101, for nostalgia reasons, the school head set one up in the back of a classroom with a TH3 on the school roof, and it was his lunchtime radio sessions that got me interested in radio in the first place ( a bit like on stranger things really haha )
