One simple question, what is the purpose of the excersise, and under what licencing agreement is it currently operating?
Just curious?

I know, I can see the blue lights flashing from down in Wales, Ha, Ha. Don't worry, He's already had his answer on HRD!! Probably hasn't seen it though - not home from Bingo yet.

Seemed a perfectly reasonable question to me, Geeful beat me to it really - if I have a license to operate on certain frequ4encies then I shouldn't be aiding someone who has not to operate by giving them signal reports. Hence the question is valid.
And now that the answer is known and that we know that phillmobile is licensed for that frequency then all is fine & we can turn our radios on and see if we can hear the signal. :)

I'll take my radio with me now as I go for tea. ;)

I see where your coming (to a degree) from Matty but if we are going down the legality route then surely isnt innocence presumed until proven otherwise... 'Burden of proof of the one declaring' ?

Anyway just had a listen an nowt heard here

Not at non PMR, CB or Amatuer frequencies.
Outside of those you would be expected to have a license afaik, and nothing was mentioned about that.

Nothing heard at the Halo, Haslingden Lancs :)

No, participating in one of the best radio forums on the web, a place to chat to others discussing radio related topics, antennas etc.
Pirate radio operating discussion is kept at a minimum from what I can see.

Plenty of other licensed operators on here too.
2 people asked why reports on a frequency they are not licensed to listen to have been asked for and Phil has not replied.
If there is a problem in this thread then IMO it is entirely of Phils making.

Chill out dude, it was just a joke... :) but pirate chat on TM1 is minimal? Come on! This thread is even located in one of the pure pirate forums! Or did you think that scanning was a legal passtime? :P

If anyone is really that bothered about what philmobile is up to, take a look at some of his other posts and I'm sure you'll quickly figure out what he does for a living. ;)
