164.9000 in Shifnal / Telford area?

Anyone any idea what this is please?
In the area on business for a week and the scanner has picked up this one.
Seems to be lots of people calling into base and base just telling them what the time is?!!
EDIT: Just grabbed a CTCSS tone of 156.7 too if that helps...

its a local compeny on clee hill i am very close to them and they get out to wales
yet they only have two repeters that i know of

Yes, as per the thread before, they have 2 x repeaters on the NATS/CAA site, there was some lowband with the same company but they may have relinquished a few of them.
The freq 164.900MHz is an old CBS, the guys that operate them have a few customers on with their own CTCSS tone per company.
Clee Hill is a very good site with a couple of superb amateur repeaters on too! Mainly 50MHz and 29MHz, I have used the 50MHz one down to Bristol before changing over to the local unit there.

Ahhh Kidderminster and Barmouth I do that trip every now and then
. Anyway yes this is a company from Clee Hill somewhere and at night theres a security company on there some sort of repeater system. Very active signals.
