Hi All, as the proud owner of a Uniden 3500xlt and a newbie to scaning, i am looking for any interesting scanner frequencies around the Stourbridge or Hagley are please. I have used all of the usual sources including the frequency directory on cd and interweb etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Listen between 440 and 442MHz, you will find Stourbridge shopwatch in there somewhere.
Along with some trunk control channels, with the associated traffic (voice chs).

Also look on the ofcom website for the spectrum info, put in your freq range and grid ref or on the map and it will list freqs wherever you wish to listen.

Quite possibly that too; but I've heard helis giving their location as being over Long Mynd, Gt Malvern, and Ludlow.
I don't hear comms very often, but these are the limit of my range for low level helis anyway..
