Post by welshmonitor »

has anyone been monitoring the army exercise on llangynidr mountain (sorry not sure of exact spelling) i drove up there last tuesday & again today, there a fair few army vehicles & personnel around, had scanner on close call but heared nothing, although im not sure if all army comms are encrypted/digital now. any info would be welcome, oh an there were a few private cars around up there with what looked like scanner antennas on their roofs too :D

Yes they are encrypted unless you hear the PRR which are section radios. They have a range of a wet dead fish.
