army exercise llangynidr
has anyone been monitoring the army exercise on llangynidr mountain (sorry not sure of exact spelling) i drove up there last tuesday & again today, there a fair few army vehicles & personnel around, had scanner on close call but heared nothing, although im not sure if all army comms are encrypted/digital now. any info would be welcome, oh an there were a few private cars around up there with what looked like scanner antennas on their roofs too

Yes they are encrypted unless you hear the PRR which are section radios. They have a range of a wet dead fish.
