What exactly is wrong with the encoder ? Why don't you open it and try repairing it? If it's bust you've got nothing to lose.

Hi Sammy,

I've got it in bits now... the one I got hold of isn''t incremented, and not sure if the encoder is no good or something else is wrong?

According to a certain website the original conversion encoder had 50 clicks over the standard 40 channel change selector?

Was asking if there was any paperwork/instructions or user manual for them to help me understand the functions etc and fix it.

Can you post some pictures of it ? If it's the same as the Lincoln , then you should be able to strip it down and clean it . Just like the normal channel selectors .

I pulled the cover off the back and can't see that it can pulled apart and put back together...

I got two hoping to keep one as a spare, they look like this but don't have the boards fitted.
