What is causing this amplifier to do this ?

Hi guys got a RM KL 40 and when i key up the power starts low like what the radio is giving out and starts going all the way up to 16 watts. It's the strangest thing i've seen does anyone have any idea why ?

RM Amplifiers are **** is the bottom line anyone thinking of getting one don't bother with them.

Hi Classic, i have run a RM italy KL-405 with no problems for quite a number of years now ,What a lot of users do is put too much power into them and like many other amps they do not like this 4w is plenty for this type of amp, Dont get me wrong i am not saying you have done this but i know many who have , As i said i have used the KL-405 and it has worked very well for me,
