That used to be pimps favourite 'ner-ner' thing as he has/had a couple and they are fairly rare, not £100 rare though, as it's boxed and allegedly in superb condition then maybe £50 to a collector of CBs.

I saw it , but it's not my cup of tea . Price looks about right , if you're a collector of HI stuff .

Re: Anyone else see this
It really is for a collector as the radio itself isn't a whole lot of use in 2017, a cheap multi-standard radio will be more use and a lot cheaper. They are only rare because HI realised the bubble had burst when they were churning out all of their MK3's, MM3, CC3, Jumbo3 and this Viking3, so they didn't commission that many.
Fortunately I have no nostalgia or great love for radios, so it's a £20 radio as far as I'm concerned.

Nah, I did have an original Viking that I controlled with a ZX81 thanks to the wonderful PLL02A, can't remember totally, but was about 26Mhz to 28Mhz in 10Kc steps with the channels and frequency shown on the B&W portable TV, some folk thought it was black magic in the day, but was very straightforward.
