well my EL 3900 is on its way to Nick yes it went tits up loosing modulation the e prom needs sorting white wire not soldered if you move it all thee frequncecs go all over the place think Nicks would be better have to see what he thinks I no it will be spot on when it comes back

They are good radio's when set right. Mine isn't bad at all. It doesn't have an eprom fitted but I don't the UK40 so it's no loss.
