Quiet on the bands

Quiet on the bands today decided to check out am band channel 10 here in northern Canada since I m a forest ranger and my radio is in my truck I get to dx a lot today on channel 10 heard two poachers talking located them that made my day

Not at all, thanks for sharing. I bet your job is very interesting, beats the hell out of working in an office and you have the use of a radio too.
Whats not to like!

It's a shame conditions are not great atm. Going back 3 yrs ago or even less and we could have set up a sked with you.

just out of interest where they using handhelds or mobile to mobile ?
on air,tyne&wear,northumberland,durham,holy island,eu120+eu124 and anywhere from gateshead/north wales
