Hi everyone
I am wondering if any one out there can help me,.
A friend gave me the heads up and i have read plenty of times that Arrow Taxi's Ashford are using 165.3500 vhf And have done for a couple of years,
I live in Folkestone. live in Town centre on high ground
I remember listening to Channel Cars & a couple years ago on a scanner near the same frequency as Arrow Taxis are still using but nothing heard as of yet
but now i am having no luck picking up my local taxis, Have scanned each evening but no luck as of yet.
Now i understand people are using 'Spectrum database'
But i cant seem to pull up anything for my area has any one got access to a database to find out the VHF or UHF Frequency for Channel Cars, Folkestone.
I have been scanning PMR Channels (License free) and there is only Channel 3 that is 'voice scrambled' but it is not active long enough to be Taxis or any kind of service
JJ Taxis Tontine street Folkestone there antenna is supposed to on the hills and Folkestone Taxis in Sandgate road have a massive antenna in town
Any ideas my friends

The OFCOM WTR is pretty broken. The map search rarely works, but if you enter a location as a NGR grid reference it seems to then display most of the locals on the map - not all, because for some odd reason, some licences seem to come and go.

It's been playing up for a long time now - I called them recently, thinking one of my licences had expired. It hadn't, but has just gone from the map!
