Air Radio Heathrow VHF low

Post by Minus1 »

Whilst checking to see if the old Forestry Commission freqs (86.425,86.45,86.475 — not used for ages) had disappeared from the WTR (they have), I came across this block of Simplex VHF low allocations to Air Radio Ltd at Heathrow. Anyone know what they are used for?

Manchester have a trunked system called airradio, however theirs is in the 440-456mhz area. If it is the same thing, there is a range of people on it from baggage handlers, checkin staff, Refuellers, security, Car parks, airport buses etc.
