Troon shopwatch
I'm fairly sure it's completely off the air now, as I suspect Woolies housed the repeater - and not only is Woolies shut, but the aerial's gone now too.
Will the next movie in the series be The Fast and The Funeral?

It has been gone for ages, I think it was only ever on trial. I know a girl who worked in Savers who told me there wasn't enough interest. It was on 453.825

It may be back - Wrights Home Hardware was recently refurbished and there's a nice new UHF colinear on the building at the rear. I'll ask the staff sometime.

Re: Troon shopwatch
Hi
Yes , same situation where I live.
We had a small shopwatch setup on UHF , only the high street chemists / Boots etc had it installed (I surmised), I took me 2.5 years to finally find the frequency, then when Woolies went bust, the two verticals dissapeared from the roof and the channel's now silent
The radio must've been in there in the rooms above the main shop.
The two masts are still there though, If they use the floor space for another retailer, they might re-install it.
Thing is though, if there is enough demand for the shopwatch link, I'm sure they would just rehouse the radio in another premises.

And I'm guessing the aerial was installed by the same installer that fitted the one to Woolies - because it's now slant polarised as well.
