Anyone heard the new parking warden freqs ?? Noticed they have new handset [used to have the Cobra PMR446 sets].

Any idea on the type or make of handsets?

In a fabric cover so cant see the make, sorry to say

Ok, just I heard a whisper last year of possibly fife, namely Glenrothes shopwatch using 4g ptt handsets.
Not sure if it’s true or not but if true the traffic wardens may use similar

Was talking to one of the wardens yesterday. The handsets are 'Andromeda' and doing a quick search online they come encrypted as standard.

Reading between the lines when searching for these I think they are 3G / 4G handsets using the mobile phone networks and data sim.
A lot of companies going down this route and lots of manufacturers knocking these type of handsets out.
