MOTOTRBO question

Post by elliotg »

Hi all i have a question i hope someone can answer. I have found a MOTOTRBO user that is also broadcasting in analogue but on another freq. There is a slight delay on the MOTOTRBO freq. Why would they be doing this any ideas????

Whys the user transmitting on both Digital and Analogue?

Anyhoo its prob down to the fact that theres a delay due to Digital signal processing time/techniques albeit not much but noticeable.

Probably doing a gradual phasing in of their new digital system, so just two systems linked on two frequencies, and then at some point, the old one gets turned off.
