If you ask me it's an inside job....dont even think the hut that they use has an alarm fitted...serves them right.

Seriously though... no insurance? How expensive could that have been really? Perhaps bundled with the public liability insurance that (hopefully) they must have...

And yes, I know all too well how tight budgets are in charitable organisations who's sole source of funding comes from donations given by the general public - but many would say that ANY charity has a duty to protect such donations and to ensure that they are only used for the purpose they were donated for!

There was a boat jumble on May the 3rd in Irvine, going by the story the equipment went walkies the following or later the same week.
