Shannon ATC 276.275

Post by Minus1 »

Heard this frequency mentioned by London (278.6) yesterday, when a B1B flight heading west from Cornwall couldn't use 136.255 due to no 8.33 kHz capability.

ATC transmitters typically have a range of about 200 miles from ground to high level aircraft. Range on the ground depends upon topography.
No idea where the ATC transmitters in Ireland are located.
