Nada..sadly

as you know you get some users (most interesting is security guards and shopwatch) up to sometimes 480
but a lot of them now seem to be using sets which are undetectable/undecipherable

...or perhaps they are ..i can't be bothered these days feeding it from the discriminator to a sound-card and ar$ing about just to read several lines of gobbledygook and in the middle see "sink blocked" ...or some other inane tripe

after that there is nothing really

Its a circle isnt it ...I mean the good old days were brilliant! ..but now the cheaper that Tetra/Airwave and stuff like it gets...the more move over to it, the more that move over the less people want scanners and the less people that want scanners ...the cheaper they get ! ...i picked up a buff desktop that was like NEW for £70 ...less than half price ....Because they guy that bought it couldn't find owt to listen too

now i use it to scan around on the repeaters and not much else

i suppose if i were into planes i would still find use for scanners ....

Apart from the obvious (digital TV), very little.

You might be able to hear some PMSE transmissions if you are close to a film or TV production:

See http://www.jfmg.co.uk/pages/equip/Talkback/21.htm
and http://www.jfmg.co.uk/pages/equip/Talkback/Inband.htm

You'd need to search those TV channels where there is no TV transmission in your area.
KEY : = channel/stud | ~ = CTCSS/DCS | ^ = transmitter site | ¯ = overhead | * = trunked
