Can confirm the RVI does indead use 130.650.
May be worth checking other hospital helipads.

Re: helimed 58
Recently heard two helimeds coordinating on 130.650 over Yorkshire.
Checking the Great North Air Ambulance and Yorkshire Air Ambulance wed sites I see that both now have their aircraft provided by Multiflight at LBA who's company freq is 130.650. Guess this explaines it.
Assume staff at the RVI must have a base station or a handy on 130.650.

Multiflight do have the maintenance contract for GNAA and YAA, only hear 130.650 used for VIP flights by them in to LBA and the flying school now and again but GNAA and YAA do attend the same incedents sometimes so would make sense to have pilot comms togeather.

Helimed being filmed by another chopper over the RVI this morning ( probably Helicopter Heroes or something ) Chatting to each other on 130.650.
130.650 also appears to be a company frequency for Loganair, as I listen now, one aircraft talking to ground at Wick.

130.650 also used by YAA to call Leeds General Inf. Haven't heard it used at James Cook yet.

Turns out to be "Air Ambulance ER" which is now airing on Sky 1 , Mon, 22.00. Not sure what episode features the RVI landing though.

Not HeliMed, but sure I've just been listening to a Chinook ( ZH904 ) Lifting from RVI ( roof ? ) to Newcastle Airport. That's a big chopper for roof landing eh ?
