If you're anywhere near Grangetown it will be Sembcorp Utilities at Wilton Farm.
Any subtone on that for the database ?

Are you close to a fire station?
Most of the fire service is using digital now, however they do still use UHF handies (simplex) to talk to each other during an incident/training.

Are there any good times to listen or any times during the day when traffic is at a maximum?
Also are there any callsigns/names mentioned and what is signal strength like at your location, where are you?
Is this a trunked net or is it a normal back to back pmr set up or a repeater?
as a previous poster pointed out it could be the Wilton site or even over the other side of the Tees at Seal sands.

yup, hit the nail on the head my friendwind in the antenna wrote:If you're anywhere near Grangetown it will be Sembcorp Utilities at Wilton Farm.

I can tell you that 443.1375 is indeed Sembcorp Utilities
Sembcorp Utilities (Uk) Limited
Wilton International
MIDDLESBROUGH
As found on the ofcom wtr and confirm after listening to comms this is the right one
They are the wilton emergency team, the cover fire, ambo and security
TX: 443.1375 MHz
RX: 428.6375 MHz
Bandwidth: 12.5 kHz
TX: 442.6375 MHz
RX: 428.1375 MHz
Bandwidth: 12.5 kHz
TX: 442.5375 MHz
RX: 428.0375 MHz
Bandwidth: 12.5 kHz
I didn`t get a tone as my handy that decodes tones is out at a friends house but I`ll check when i get it back and report here
On a side note, I done my stand by fire training at Wilton and the ammount of comms on site is unreal, I`m going to have a scout about one day when i can get upto Eston Nab and see what I else I can find.
On another side note lol...... When I done my fire training there, we had the pleasure of a ride in their big (I mean huge) yank tank American fire truck, it was amazing and it`s really really fast, one of the fastest in the UK, and that in its self is the dark arts working its magic because I never thought something that big and heavy could shift like theirs did
one of those lol

Ah yes lovely sembcorp love listing to them it's the closest to the emergency services you can get! Remember once I was in Boro train station cafe and didn't realise how loud my radio was and it was really quite and all you heard is " (alarm) Control to red 1 bravo (I think it was) fire alarm activation ....... Blah blah blah ... Can you attend over ". "" red 1 bravo Rodger attending ".
