Derbyshire Park Rangers (Ladybower/Derwent) freq?

Post by stuckinthemud »

I'm looking for frequencies for the park rangers in the Ladybower / Derwent reservoir area of Derbyshire (working out of the visitors centre next to the Derwent dam).

I've found 165.6875 / 170.4875 in some listings but dated over 10 years ago.

OFCOM WTR shows the following:

Business Radio (Technically Assigned)

The National Trust

TX: 165.2125 MHz
RX: 170.0125 MHz

TX: 165.1875 MHz
RX: 169.9875 MHz

http://spectruminfo.ofcom.org.uk/spectr ... offset=3.7

Not always up to date though.

165.2/170.0 (on A53 between Leek & Buxton) and 86.325 (at Edale) are also listed.
Never heard anything yet though, whilst passing through the area.
Try UK Simple freqs too.

165.6875 was definately in use last year, but 90% of comms were on weekends. The radios sounded like they were on their last legs and the repeater isn't really up to covering the area.
